Years ago, when I’d drive my kids to their school in Ecuador, we’d pray on the way there and that would usually open our hearts. Our short ride was about contacting with ourselves, God, and Nature. I would say to them: “Look at this beautiful sky, the mountains, the colors of the flowers”. We were in total appreciation of the Beauty of creation, enjoying the variety of shades of colors. In my country, the sunlight is very bright and colors acquire a depth that is magnificent. At the end our prayer there was always a scream coming from our heart: “Thank you God for this beautiful planet”. We were in love with Mother Earth.
This is the feeling that I want to convey in the abstract landscapes that I paint…love for the beautiful planet we live on and that we have chosen to be in for our spiritual evolution. I use the colors that come to my soul, how my perception sees reality; colors that represent the different qualities of the White Light that comes from Source.
I may paint green skies, or purple mountains, or yellow rivers. I am practicing now so I know what colors to use when its my turn to co-create a magical new Universe. I see all these colors when I look at the pictures of other solar systems, galaxies, universes…so I already know the possibilities are infinite…it is just a matter of what my heart longs for at the moment of creating this symphony of colors. It is about manifesting the Beauty that is already in my Heart.
